Akil Andrews
Akil is a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at UNM. He studies artificial intelligence, machine learning, evolutionary algorithms, artificial life, and computational science. His goal is to research algorithms that mimic life. He also enjoys following research in particle physics, classical and quantum mechanics, general relativity, and cosmology. HIs belief is that technology will one day answer the origin and meaning of life. After he graduates, he plans to start a research company and/or join a research effort in pursuit of the answer.
